Al-Julaiah Trading and Contracting Co. W.L.L. (JTC)
Our History
Established in 1976. It is now one of the most aggressive players in Kuwait’s Oil, Gas and Power Generation industries. Representing various international companies that span the globe, JTC provides equipment and services ranging from the oil well to the pumping station. JTC enjoys a continued growth and stature in the ever-increasing competitive industry. JTC holds its headquarters in Sharq, which is centrally located for easy access to the oil and power generation sector, as well as the Kuwait commercial and financial Sector.
The conception, development and success of JTC is the product of three industrious partners:
Mr. Khalid Ahmed Al-Fahad (Chairman) Coming from a prominent and well-connected Kuwaiti family, was holding a senior position in the Ministry of Oil, until 1982.
Mr. Jassim Ahmed Al-Fahad (Vice Chairman) Aside being Khalid’s brother, Mr. Jassim is an ex-banker with extensive financial experience and currently a partner in one of the most powerful auditing firms in Kuwait.
On top of having a top-notch sales/service crew, JTC demands that they maintain an unyielding re-education by means of training seminars, conferences, trade shows and numerous visits to principal facilities not to mention a continuous contact with various clients including major customers and contractors. Having the latest in state of the art informational and communication equipment provides the staff with a fresh resource from which to draw the most up to date information. This coupled with JTC’s aggressive nature in the field provides JTC the channels so vital to offer their principals a perpetual flow of orders. JTC’s expertise can also be credited to its discipline to remain true to its original objective.
JTC avoided the trendy urge in the late seventies to diversify and stretch its resources to new and unfamiliar avenues. A Master of the Trade attitude was developed and upheld which in turn has forged JTC’s indisputably professional reputation. Following the liberation of Kuwait, JTC and many of its principals played a major role in the restoration of major equipment and oil production facilities by providing site repair and machining services. Clearly a need for a dedicated precision workshop was required to enhance the efficiency of work. JTC knew it would have to comply with the highest and most strict international standards and would require the expertise of a leading multinational company.
JTC approached John Crane, the world leader in engineering sealing systems that agreed whole- heartedly that such a workshop would provide an enhanced service to its customers. Following eighteen months of successful operation JTC recognized the workshop’s growing activities and abilities. It was becoming a company of its own and on January, 1996, Al-Julaiah Petroleum Services Co. W.L.L. (JPS) was established. Early in 2006, JPS was officially certified an ISO 9002 company, which demonstrates its unyielding movement towards success. JPS’s objective is to be the leader in providing Kuwaiti Industries with the highest quality technical services that will save time, money and enable an uninterrupted operation which will reduce down time and increase profits. JPS continually strives for and achieves total customer satisfaction.
